CRUNCH Time

We have hit the last month of the semester and I think it is important to remember to take some time for yourself. I have listed below some popular relaxing tips.

1. Exercising for at least 30 minutes every other day.

2. Laughing...it releases the healing hormones-endorphins (the body's natural pain killers).

3. Mediation, deep breathing, yoga for 5 minutes twice a day.

What I would like for you to do is add your own tips (3+) that you enjoy doing to ease the stress.

I hope this list comes in handy during the end of the semester and don’t be afraid to try some of these tips.

3. Remember that finals are finite. Fun is infinite. Its not that big of a deal!

1. Research has shown listening to music with binaural beats enduces lower heart rates which helps you relax.

2.anaerobic excersize fro 30-60 minutes a day increases the concentration of lactate in your blood. This helps blood circulation in your brain... also helping you concentrate and have a more efficient memory.

3.naps during the day dynamically facilitate motor memories (art students!).

3. Going to a quiet place and or hang out with your friends away from the dorms because it can be stressful (at least to me) to be around the floor all the time
