Discipline - I thought it kind of surprising that I am so drawn to predictability and dislike surprises - to the point that I make routines and deadlines for myself. My results also noted that I require precision - this is exactly the case.

Responsibility - With this trait, I am psychologically and emotionally compelled to complete all tasks I have committed to - this is me to a T. It bothers me immensely if I don't go through with something I have already began. It doesn't matter if it doesn't particularly benefit me, I HAVE to do it. I found it beneficial to know that I need to be selective because of this - I often find that I take on too much at one time, but have a hard time letting go them after the fact.

Achiever - I found it very interesting to reflect that after each accomplishment, I am only briefly satisfied - almost immediately, I am on to the next project. And so I must learn to live with the whisper of discontent - it probably won't matter how much I achieve, I will always be driven to accomplish more. It is a good quality, but also a burden I believe.

Individualization - I am impatient with generalizations, and tend to look at the uniqueness of each person. I am surprised that this came up as one of my top 5, because I didn't believe this was so prevalent in me. But apparently it is - it kind of makes sense, in how it explains that I want to pick out just the right birthday gift for a friend.

Deliberative - I am a private, careful, and fairly serious person. I select my friends cautiously, and am careful to give praise and recognition (I think this also might have to do with my belief that everyone can improve and progress). Most importantly, I tend to see life as a minefield: others run through recklessly, but I identify dangers, weigh my pros and cons, and place my feet deliberately. I am careful.

Includer-I honestly read through the entire paragraph for this one and nothing surprised me. I really like making sure everyone is invovled and no one is left out.

Woo-I feel like out of all my strengths this was the one I was most confused about. While I do like meeting new people, I still get nervous about what I'm going to say to people or I just get awkward. I embrace the awkward.

Positivity-One surprising thing from this one is that I'm positive all the time. While I love being around people and being positive, but I usually hold back the negetive things and/or I show it to the people who I am close to.

Futuristic-While I love looking at the future, it scares me like most people. I like thinking of how something might help me in the future, but I'm terrible at putting all those things together.

Communication-I am surprised that it says that I have a good word choice. Most days I'm awkward with my words because I can't concentrate on one thing. I'm like that dog (Doug) in Up that constantly gets distracted by squirrels. That is my life.

Overall, I feel like I knew this information pretty well and nothing really stuck out as being weird or surprising.

Analytical- I think my top five strengths are very interesting because they have to deal with my major and I find that very cool. Like as an engineer I need to be able to look at a single situation in as many ways as possible and that is what analytical is.
Relator- I believe this is true because it seems to fit me cause I make very close relationships with people.
Restorative- with restorative it says that I am very good at dealing with problems and figuring out whats wrong and fixing them.
Focus- I am very determined and I always have a to-do list with everything prioritized on it in order and I always follow through and always act so this one was cool to see.
Achiever- I believe this fits me more than any of the other Strenthgs because I believe this describes me to a t!

Developer: This one is not one I would pull out normally and say I am a developer but looking at the description I realize how perfectly it fits me and my major. I like looking for what individuals are good at and watching them improve. That is why I want to be a special education teacher, I know Special needs have potential and I enjoy seeing them reach towards that.
Belief: This is the one that did not surprise me, I am very firm on my beliefs and hold what I believe very strong and what I believe is one of the most important things in my life.
Arranger: This one fits me perfectly because I love to plan things and be part of planning committees but yet I am very flexible and go with the flow which can be the opposite of some organizers.
Restorative: This one surprised me the most because I never saw myself as being a problem solver. As I look back at my future I realize I was one who dealed with problems and helped solve them but was always able to see both sides which also helps in this job as I can not take one residents side over the other.
Responsibility: I originally choose responsibility as one of my top five strengths and was not surprised when it showed up in the results. I have always been considered responsible and take pride in being responsible and take it very seriously at times.

Strategic - It described Strategic as using group problem-solving techniques and my own experience and ideas in order to "serve as a springboard for others' imaginations." I agree with this point a lot. I love working with groups that I can brainstorm ideas with. The rest of the information in the section was also very accurate.

Significance - This one talked about how I strive for leadership positions and seek to use that position in order to call progress people are making towards goals. It talked about how I like to quantify progress using numbers and statistics. This is very accurate and I never really realized that I'm always calculating what percentage of a project or task I have completed is.

Competition - I like to challenge people to compete in different things and I always compare my progress or skill to others. I also want to be the winner and expect to succeed in anything that I put my mind to. This is accurate, as I'm always placing very high expectations on myself and comparing myself to others in everything that I do.

Analytical - I like to identify patterns in things and find the links between cause and effect. I will often analyze a situation and tell people my opinions. When people ask me for my opinion on things I have been thinking about, I'm willing to let them know, though I don't go out of my way to do so.

Arranger - This can be summed up in the sentence "The whole is greater than the sum of its parts." I strongly believe in this idea and love to work in groups in order to organize work and find the best job for each individual person.

1. Harmony - I prefer to talk about practical topics. I never realized how true that was.

2. Consistency - I don't like to see people treated differently

3. Activator - "When can I start" and I learn from doing.

4. Focus - Where am I headed? I get frustrated if I don't have a direction in my life or profession.

5. Restorative - I like to fix personal or conceptual problems.

Futuristic: This didn't surprise me, I tend to look at the big picture, and how I can get to that end result, and also how to take the most effective way their.

Strategic: This surprised me a little. I never thought of myself to have that strategic edge, but I suppose with the way i mentioned I look at the future, it partially goes hand in hand.

Belief: Having a religious background it makes sense to have this as a strength, even if its not in that context. It shows I have decent moral standards, and that I'm willing to stand up to them.

Restorative: This surprised me a little as well. I think the reason for that is just the term usage, but its re-assuring to know I'm able to help people, and also help resolve the issue entirely.

Ideation: This didn't surprise me due to my major. I'm going into a field that could require "out of the box" thinking, that goes hand in hand with this. By being able to find connections between things that are not related, it clearly generates ideas and things to help relate things or people who wouldn't normally be paired.

Strategic- This surprised me a little, because I am both strategic and fly by the seat of my pants depending on the time. I know strategic characteristics started for me when I was mountain bike racing and had to make many quick decisions that had heavy outcomes.

Achiever- Not too surprised with this one, I make alot of lists and have the need to get them done in a day. i never really thought of myself having a burning fire inside to get things done, but i suppose thinking about it, it makes sense.

Connectedness- This one is one that i wouldn't have thought of myself as at all, but when I was assigned it, it makes perfect sense. I find comfort in knowing we're all into life together and work to make it easier to get through.

Context- Context... I feel like this goes hand in hand with my Strategic characteristic. When i eliminate options in my head, I base things heavily on the past.

Belief- this was interesting because I don't think about my personal values alot, but maybe thats what reinforces them as being strong. When it comes down to it, there are things that I will always stand behind.

Restorative: When I first looked at my strengths some of them surprised me and this was one. I didn't really think of myself as one who enjoys solving practical problems but the more I read I can see how I feel a push when faced with complex and unfamiliar problems.

Achiever: This was a strength that I wasn't too shocked by. One thing that it did help me to realize is that by the end of the day I must achieve something in order to feel good about myself which was a different way of looking at it, but I can relate to.

Learner: Not too surprising here either. One part of this that did catch me off was how I had never thought about how I tend to learn a lot about a new subject in a short time and then move on to the next one.

Includer: I was sort of surprised that this was one of my top five strengths. I am very accepting of people no matter what, but I hadn't thought about how I tend to want everyone to be involved and would rather have others feel more included than myself.

Responsibility: I was shocked at statement at the end of the description because I hadn't realized that I do volunteer for things and take on more than I should at times. Other than that, I definitely agree that if something doesn't go right I immediately try to find a way to make up for it.
