Life is Silly, Laugh!
Write a brief paragraph describing what makes you laugh. After you are finished posting, read everyone else's postings and comment on at least 2 peoples responses.
What doesn't make me laugh? I think a lot of things are funny and I enjoy humor a lot. I like some irony, inappropriate jokes, when people point out everyday things that are true and make fun of them, I laugh when I'm just being silly with people, and sometimes I laugh just because other people are laughing.
What makes Lauren laugh? I laugh at that's what she said jokes, when people nip out of their shirts, when I trip, slip and fall and make a fool out of myself, when my brother is in the backyard picking up dog poop while dancing to the Incredibles soundtrack, when babies laugh, when my mom tries to use slang, cheesy commercials, Melanie Flink, my siblings in general, footie pajamas, and when people try to act cool and they are not. I also laugh when God proves me wrong and blesses me with so much more than I could have ever asked for... He seriously has the best sense of humor.
I have a very unique and sophisticated yet unsophisticated sense of humor. I like the witty pun and the fart in the face. Anything that can make me smile or make my day better i tend to enjoy. Carlos Mencia SUCKS though.
Well I am pretty much laughing all day, every day! :) But the moments that are unexpected that make you laugh so hard you are crying and your abs hurt so bad are my favorite! They're rare but I think they are the best laughs because they don't happen all the time. My closest friends and family are the ones who can make me laugh like this!
Oh and I love Lauren's one about people nipping out of their shirts! That made me laugh reading it! :D
Lauren: It's interesting how you were able to think of so many scenarios that make you laugh. What's with the nipping out thing? Is this like it flings out of the side, or it's just cold?
Kelsey: I love when you have those amazing laughs and your abs hurt and you cry and it feels so good even though you can't breath and it hurts. Those make me feel so good too.
Adamme: I also think its hilarious when everyday things are made fun of- gotta laugh at life. And the nipping thing? I was going for cold. Kelsey: I love belly laughs too!! They are like pure moments of joy, as cheesy as that sounds. haha
I find many things humorous. I love viral YouTube videos. Half of the things I say are quotes from a YouTube video. I also greatly enjoy when I know the sorts of things that are funny to the people around me. For example art and design humor when I am with art and design people or techy humor when I am with someone like Adamme. Puns rock too!
Lauren - "when people try to act cool and they are not" This is awesome. I will agree with you on that one. I am cool though right? :)
Kelsey - "My closest friends and family are the ones who can make me laugh like this!" Things do always seem to be funnier when you are with people that you are comfortable around. You know them, they know you, and you all know what makes each other laugh.
What makes me laugh: -Snippy comments -goofy outfits -Toilet paper stuck to shoes -Downed zippers -Slapstick Comedy -Jokes that make me think -Corny Jokes -Forgetting simple things (like posting in the blog) -My pee smelling -Other people who find my pee smelling funny funny -blatantly obvious things like: Coalition Of Cool Kids (abbreviate it)

Didn't even think about that. -Kollin: Mitch Headberg once said, "A waffle is like a pancake with a syrup trap." Everyday that I have been a Hall Director, I have laughed...whether that's due to a resident, staff member or co-worker. It's a great job...if you don't take yourself too seriously. Here are other things that make me laugh:

I enjoyed Justin's one about toilet paper stuck to someone's shoe. Embarrassing moments like that are pretty funny! And if it happens to you all you can do is laugh it off, no point letting it be too embarrassing! :D
Well i think what makes me laugh the most is my family. When im with them something always seems to happen that makes me laugh until im crying. My dad is typically behind this laughter he always seems to say something that is so inappropriate its funny. Also i laugh alot during movies for some reason. I get really into movies and am always the guy in the back of the movie theater just busting a gut.
I really like how lauren finds nipples to be funny. I to always notice those things and giggle to myself when it happens.
Colin i think you should meet my old roomate becasue he is the youtube king. Every time i go to see him he has to show me the new youtube videos that he found since the last time he showed me.
I like when I laugh so hard that I spit on the table and fall out of my chair! lol! My favorite people to laugh at are my niece and nephews. They say and do the funniest things that they don't even realize how funny they are. Especially when they are being serious and they look at me like what's so funny?
JJ I totally agree with family and movies! Sometimes when I watch movies I can see my friends and family saying what the characters are saying and that makes it even funnier.

The random little things that people do or say....especially facial expressions. Sometimes I just giggle for no good reason. :)
